Showerheads come in a variety of styles to meet your unique requirements. Before you go to the shop, consider what would work best in your shower and home.
A fixed showerhead is generally ideal for you if you aren’t choosy and want a stationary showerhead that performs the job.
They’re attached to the shower arm using screws, and most of them have several settings for varied pressures and sprays.
Overview of Kohler Moxie Showerhead
Features of Kohler 9245 Moxie
- Colour Polished Chrome
- Brand Kohler
- Material Silicone
- Setting Type Full
- Finish Type Polished
Kohler is famous for producing high-quality shower heads, so it’s no surprise that the Kohler Moxie 9245 is stylish and well-designed. It comes in a white or polished chrome finish color and is 4.18 by 5 inches (HW) in size. The Moxie shower head is a good-looking shower head by Kohler, one of the best designer plumbing manufacturers. It has a spherical, white finish with a slot in the center where you may insert the magnetic speaker.
The Kohler Moxie 9245 is a single-function shower head with only one spray setting in two sizes: 2.0 and 2.5 GPM, like Delta Faucet 75152. The spray face is made of white silicone, which is pleasant. It’s a simple design that should work in most showers. No screws or holding buttons are required to detach and attach the magnetic speaker. Sixty nozzles circle the shower head’s outer ring, providing a complete spray effect without getting the magnetic speaker.
Kohler Moxie Review – Does it Really Worth Buying?
It is a good option if you want a shower radio that is stylish and discreet. Although there is a lot of competition, you can’t go wrong with the Moxie.
Design
Let’s start with the aesthetics and design. The Moxie experience begins the moment you take possession of the box. Unboxing the speaker seems like unwrapping a high-end phone since it arrives in a substantial-feeling white box with a high-resolution technicolor photo on the front.
Speaker Performance
I plugged the Moxie into the shower head and let the music on for the length of the shower. Even with the water noise around the speaker, the directness of the speaker being just over your head helps the Moxie convey sound as clearly as possible. At approximately 3/4 of the way to maximum volume, this setting was loud enough to drown out the shower sound without causing distortion.
Despite its nominal size, the Moxie generated outstanding audio for the music and the radio, letting you grasp the content rather than merely listen to the rhythms for white noise.
Magnetic Construction
The speaker is a 1.5-watt Bluetooth device that is removable and constructed of the same white silicone as the spray face. It features a magnetic construction and pops in and out of the shower head for quick recharging using the USB wire that comes with it.
According to the Kohler, the battery life may last up to seven hours. If you’re anything like me, it should get you roughly a week’s worth of battery life, although I’ve heard I take “forever” to get dressed so that you could get even more.
Waterproof Speakers
The speaker is waterproof, and the core unit can be easily removed and charged thanks to a strong magnet-enabled attachment.
If you need some rhythms on the go, you can take the speaker out and transport it. Kohler offers up to nine hours of continuous playing, which matches our experience.
Sound Mechanism
While I’m not tapping, you can change the speaker’s mode from “shower” to “normal” by pressing and holding the volume keys for a second.
The former, according to Kohler, is tuned particularly for bathroom reverberation. Still, there’s no way to determine its mode without checking the Kohler Konnect app, which is battling to keep the speaker connected.
Audio Performance
The Moxie sounds superior in the shower, with the water running and the music blasting at full volume. The volume is loud and clear. There is no distortion when the audio is set up.
Nozzles
The 60 nozzles on Moxie’s showerhead assisted in producing good water pressure with adequate coverage, but it’s far from comparable to showerheads with diverse spray patterns.
The power appears just right – not too gentle, yet gentle enough to massage your muscles. Unless music is your medicine, don’t anticipate therapeutic results from this gadget.
Water Flow
The showerhead pumped 1.75 gallons per minute through multi-directional nozzles, providing a powerful, continuous water flow. You may swivel the device to raise or lower it by a few inches, and clicky buttons supply a comforting haptic sense.
Installation
I was initially apprehensive about the installation since I’m the absolute last person who should be performing any home repair job with pipes. So, believe me when I tell you that installing this device is so simple that even I can do it.
Detach your present shower head and replace it with this. It’s simple to connect it to your phone. It’s the same process as pairing any other Bluetooth speaker; however, the Kohler Konnect app is an option.
