Normally rough-in plumbing dimensions refer to the plumbing distances and measurements that properly fit your bathroom area. Rough-in is often the most difficult aspect of plumbing. If you connect the toilet, sink, or bathtub as the last step is almost useless.

So, everything looks good and meaningful in its right position. It is pretty important to get all the measurements with the right value. Therefore we need rough measurements. Here are 3 basic rough-in bathroom dimensions. So before any further delay, get a deep dig into these.
Bath-Tub and Shower Rough-In Dimensions:
Your bathtub is the one item that occupies much space in your bathroom, and then this is the biggest problem where to fix it. The other thing is Shower that you need to fix in the right place. Take your measurements properly and carefully to avoid any difficulty.
Tub supply (vertical): Faucet valves are 21-22 inches above the floor; each faucet is 4 inches to the right or left of the midline horizontally; tub spout is 4 inches above tub edge.
Shower supply (vertical): 80 inches from the floor; location of the shower arm; Showerhead will be 65 to 78 inches on top of the floor.
Discharge hole (vertical): The drain is positioned at ground level; Distance is zero. The drain is at ground level.
Discharge hole from the back wall: Drain at the centerline; Bezel for the drain. Put drain on centerline; Opening for the drain. Access should be 10 to 14 inches from the frame and 6 to 8 inches wide.
Fixture (front buffer): A minimum buffer of 18 inches is required.
Fixture (side buffer): The minimum required buffer is 18 inches.
Rough-In Dimensions of Toilet:
The blank is the area under the toilet where the flow of water is usually located. The rough-in is in the wall under certain circumstances, but we won’t discuss such a toilet here. The approximate distance is the distance between the center of the exit and the back wall of the toilet.
The distance between the rear wall and the toilet flange should be exact. You can also know the required space from left to right.
Supply line: Eight-and-a-quarter inches above the ground in terms of height; Coldwater pipe creates a hole between five and ten inches above the ground. The horizontal supply line measurement should be taken from the centerline that runs vertically from the toilet centerline. The supply line hole should be six inches to the side of the centerline; inspect the toilet for the location validation of the connection of the water supply.
Discharge hole (back panel): Set the discharge hole 12 1 over 2 inches from the back panel.
Discharge hole (vertical): the drain is positioned at ground level; Distance is always zero. The drain is at ground level; the Distance is zero.
Fixture (side tampon): Measure from the toilet’s center on either side; the minimum distance from a wall or other device is 15 inches; 18 inches are suggested if the bathroom allows it.
Fixture (front buffer): the minimum distance is approximately 21 inches between the front edge of the toilet and the nearest obstacle; 30 inches are good to go.
Rough-In Sink Dimension:
The water pipes for the sink in the bathroom are roughened 3 inches upper the drain. You have to measure 21 inches above the finished floor (approximately). The hot and cold lines are separated by 8 inches (from left to right). And measure 4 inches from left and 4 inches from the right of the center of the drain.
Supply line (height): Two holes, each about two to three inches above the drainpipe vertically.
Supply lines (Horizontal): Two holes, one 4 inches to the right of the midline and others to 4 inches to the left.
Discharge hole (vertical): 15 to 20 inches upper the ground, with the drainpipe as the vertical axis.
Fixture (side by side to it): minimum inches are 15 but 20 inches are hindrance suggested from the midline.
Fixture (front pad): A minimum distance of 21 inches from the nearest obstruction is required; a distance of 30 inches is suggested.
Sink Placement: From the edge of the sink to the floor, the sink ought to be around 31 inches over the floor.
